Sailing for Kids is here this summer! One month program fully in English by native English speaking coach Vincent Peter.
Learn a new sport, make new friends and practice English. Three-in-one!
Sailing is a unique sport that has proven to strengthen physical, mental and psychological aspects of participants.
Kids will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, patience, being responsible and to be more confident!
Come in with no experience and walk out sailing a boat independently!!
Focus is on sailing fun, learning the basics—safety on the water and making the boat go where you want it to.
Ages 8-14 are welcome with no experience required. Combination of land sessions and water sessions. After just a few hours of land sessions, students are on the water sailing in an Optimist dinghy. Total class time is four hours per day for eight days, including preparation, rigging, sailing, de-rigging, post-sailing snacks and hydration.
The first goals are to learn how make the boat move, to control boat direction,
to sail comfortably in wind up to 10-15 mph, and to understand boating safety
techniques. Students are welcome to take this class multiple times until they
feel they have the skills and confidence to move up to Junior Sailing.
About the class: Optimist boats will be provided by the club.
About the Coach: Experienced English speaking sailor and coach with over 20 years of coaching kids and teenagers in various classes of sailing boats.
Group: This course is for kids 8-14 and no experience is required. Group size is limited to 10.
Course Duration: 8 Days in July (4 weekends- Saturday and Sunday), 4 hours per day (10:00 to 14:00)
Eligibility: Basic English speaking and understanding ability.
Fees: 1200zl only!

Parents will need to sign indemnity form to allow your child to participate in this program.
